      System Requirements

      Some functions used in migration and application code will not function in older versions of Sql Server and Oracle databases. The minimum required database versions are listed below:

      • Sql Server: Sql Server 2019 (and newer versions)
      • Oracle: Oracle 19c (and newer versions)
      • Migration Environment: Windows
        • Note that BrM does not officially support non-windows systems. The migration process requires the execution of a small windows command script, however the database server variable in the script could be pointed to a database server hosted on a different environment, such as Linux.
