Uninstalling BrM
The BrM installer is a typical Windows installation program that provides an uninstall mode to remove the software completely from the system.
NOTE
The BrM database is untouched in the BrM application uninstall. Deletion of the database or database software must be done separately. Consult the vendor's instructions or your DBA for assistance.
To uninstall the BrM application:
- Open the Windows Control Panel.
- Open Add/Remove Programs.
- Select the BrM application in the list and click Uninstall.
- If the uninstall confirmation popup appears, click Yes.
If you encounter any errors during the uninstall process, take a screenshot and send to the contractor via Jira service management (https://support.mayvue.com/){target=_blank}) or by emailing support@mayvue.com.
Some directories in the application directory tree may have files or additional sub-directories created by the application during normal operation that are not removed automatically by the uninstaller. These remnants will need to be examined and deleted as a separate manual task after uninstalling the software.
